'Cafe au Lait' (SIMcafee); Simpson 1993; 'Just Joey' x 'Vol 'd Nuit'; cream coffee; 6 reports on 11 plants; 2-9 years; 1.8 metres; 7.1 rating. This rose has been around for a few years but has not been reported on previously. The general consensus is that it lacks petallage, a good rose for floral art and when picked in the tight bud makes a lovely vase. It grows quite tall, reasonably healthy with bronze green foliage. Nelson finds the colour interesting but thinks the plant is rather spindly. Northland says it opens too fast. The blooms are of decorative form with large petals, colour is an unusual coffee buff or as the name suggests coffee and cream.
