Steve Beck. Big is Beautiful. Some Notes in the Hybrid Perpetuals. ‘John Hopper’ (Ward 1862) Large, full, cupped to globular bright pink blooms with an excellent perfume. Reasonably remontant. Sometimes sold as or confused with ’La Reine’.
“Terang Woolshed” I obtained this from John Nieuwesteeg. Similar colour and fragrance to “Miss Curry”, but fewer petals, and taller, more vigorous growth.
