This was rose was identified as 'de la Grifferaie' and came as a cutting from northern New South Wales, Australia. It was widely used as rootstock. It has grown into a large clump and the Spring flowering is spectacular. Photos taken in my Highfields garden, Queensland, Australia. Spring 2022.

"Sturt Valley Rd (S.A. AUS)” Climbing an ivy on the edge of the road at Paechtown, settled by German-speaking migrants from Silesia in the 1840s. South Australia, zone 9b. This plant has since been removed, but there are suckering plants in the garden nearby.
