‘City of Goulburn’. Modern, large flowered hybrid tea. Yellow blend. Repeat flowering. This rose was named by the Goulburn Rose Comittee. The blooms are borne on long stems both singly and in clusters and flower production is profuse and continuous. The flowers are a mixture of yellow, copper and gold, open slowly from well-shaped buds and are excellent for cutting. The medium to tall growing bush is very upright with dense green, disease-resistant foliage. Zones 5-11. Swane’s Nursery, Australia, 1995. Parentage unknown.

Geoff Swane. New Roses Introductions for 1995. ‘City of Goulburn’ (JACfre) – The bush is extremely upright with strong, dense green foliage. Blooms are borne on long straight stems, both singly and in clusters. The colour of the blooms is a fusion of yellow/copper and gold. The petals are ruffled at the edges. The plant is extremely disease resistant. This rose was chosen by the members of the Goulburn Rose Society to honour their city.
