Curious about this rose. Anyone knows about disease resistance, cold hardiness, scent and repeat?

Hi
hansestadt Roostock probably is the best "yellow" cluster flower rose of the moment!
Super compact growth, healthy, (none scent) and good for rose beds.
I saw this rose when its won the first prize in Baden Baden last year.

(I think is a Bernstein rose son ;-) )

Thanks for the reply! It looks as if it blooms with a tight bundle of three blooms in each big bouquet. Interesting. When you say it was very compact, do you mean it was also rather small or just very leafy? If it is Bernstein Rose that is behind it, that should be a good sales argument for marketing...still it is not made public apparently.

Thanks again!

Fredrik

Sorry, probably I'm wrong about Bernstein rose, (It's only my impression) but when I saw these rose, I thought was very similar.
Its height was quite reduced, max.40-60 cm. If you want we can speak about roses by e-mail. davidedallalibera@virgilio.it

thanks

It's quite possible. The odd petal shape precedes and proceeds it in generations. Seems to stick around, genetically. A few Flower Carpet, as well as Aprikola, also seem to have this odd petal architecture.
