"Florence Bowers' Pink Tea" rose Description

Bloom:
Deep pink. Glandular bristly hairs on pedicel, receptacle, sepals and hips. Petals drop cleanly. Double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Glandular sepals buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing.
Height: 14' (425cm).

A vigorous climbing Tea Rose.
This rose was gathered in by an elderly lady and probably came from the site of a historic stage stop. It was passed to Mrs. Florence Bowers who lives at Lake Murray, South Carolina. Mrs. Bowers passed the rose on to Ruth Knopf, who passed it on to Vintage Gardens.
