Grand Dame was healthy and productive this season, which was challenging, given the extended heat. I kept her well watered, fed, and groomed, and she's been an exemplary performer. Albuquerque NM, Zone 7A, Hot and Dry, No Spray.

June 2023, Albuquerque NM Zone 7B. Side view of Grand Dame in the first spring flush. This plant is LOADED with blooms, many of them are clusters. Very large bright pink with beautiful form. Very bushy and vigorous, after having had a hard spring pruning. This is a hardworking, gallant rose that gives so much during the season. Plus the perfume up close is quintessential old rose. A 'Grand Dame' indeed!
