'Nieuwesteegii' rose Reviews & Comments

A species hybrid of rosa willmottiae and rosa foliolosa, with the same ferny foliage as willmottiae, but with longer, more narrow leaflets. Single pink blooms are larger than willmottiae and smaller than foliolosa. Amazingly, it flowers continuously throughout the season. Discovered by, and named for John Nieuwesteeg, a renowned commercial rose grower in Victoria, Australia, and keeper of the official collection of Alister Clark's roses.
