Book (2020) Page(s) 79. Doug Grant, A Tribute to Sam McGredy. I have been fortunate to have been on the receiving end of Sam's inspiration over the many years that followed since my student days. This has assisted my breeding work considerably. Sam gave the rose world 'Molly McGredy' and 'Satchmo' from which I produced the 2001 New Zealand Rose of the Year winner 'Millennium' (a.k.a. 'Everlasting Love') and the parents for three of my climbers 'Cherry Kisses ', 'Candy Kisses' and 'All My Love', all past Best Climber Award winners from NZ Rose of the year Trials.
