... British born Peter Joy and his co-workers who started a rose breeding programme originally under a programme at the University of Helsinki. They have released another five varieties that also look promising. Among them is 'Tove Jansson' ('Red Nelly' x 'Poppius') a beautiful deep purple and velvety flowered rose.
