'Easy Does It ®' rose Reviews & Comments

I've grown this rose in a container for 4 years now, and in a garden of 80-plus container roses, it's one of my most consistent, exuberant bloomers. The bush is not phased by high-90's- up to 105 degree heat, and just keeps on producing. I DO water a lot, every day in extreme heat, otherwise I soak the containers every 2-3 days during the growing season. I also fertilize every 3-4 weeks with a water soluble plant food (rose, general purpose, or tomato). I deadhead all my roses consistently, to encourage rebloom. I also shower the leaves regularly, and keep a nice layer of mulch. Most of my container roses do great with this regime, but this one has been a particularly stellar performer. The blooms stay bright and big in the heat. (Some roses produce small blooms in the heat, but not this one). And they don't fry easily, they last a good long while. Foliage is bright and clean, no blackspot or mildew. Great rose! Albuquerque NM Zone 7A, Hot and Dry, No Spray.

We are having a little difficulty understanding what you are trying to accomplish: are you trying to enter parentage information or and alternate name for your seedling?

I had a single specimin of Easy Does It. It flowered continuosly but was plagued with black spot.
It's leaves droped, but that hardly slowed down its flower production. I read that some gardeners have very little trouble with blackspot on this rose. I wonder if, as with roses that sport different colors, some cuttings might be a sport that is not as disease resistant as others???
I found this to be fertile as both a seed and a pollen parent.

This is one AMAZING rose! Beautiful color, form, fragrance, vigor, disease resistance. No spraying needed and it is ALWAYS in bloom from April-December here in North Georgia. I rarely have multiples of my different varieties but have have several bushes and 1 standard. A MUST for the rose garden.

I am in Noth Atlanta and I have it too. Can't wait to see what it does in its second season. It has been a great rose so far, considering it started out as an own root band with a broken limb.
