Mine is deliciously fragrant with a hint of spice, rose fragrance, I wish I was better at identifying all of the scents. It does readily make runners, it is low dense, prickly, and bushy, with 9 leaflets.

Does anyone know the parentage of 'Bella Nitida'? Or have any way to ask the breeder? It looks very similar to 'Métis', even though they were introduced 33 years apart.

Even the foliage looks identical to 'Metis'. I was lucky enough to get several seedlings from 'Metis' that look quite similar. Maybe it is a 'Metis' seedling.
