That's definitely a different mauve than usual. The photos look like Blueberry Hill and Blue Moon had a love child, resulting in an odd color, a shrubbier plant, and different bloom form.

Americans might like this one, since the closest here is the 7' bean pole, Lagerfeld.

While it's no bean pole, mine is growing like a vigorous large-flowered climber in zone 7 on the East Coast. It's quite healthy and flowers extravagantly, so it still bests most other mauves, but those looking for a "petite" shrub in a warm zone will want to look elsewhere. The fragrance is good, although not terribly strong.

Tidbits for those interested. Delbard lists this rose (same breeder code) as "The rose that inspired the fragrance of Shiseido." It lists it as a floribunda with a height of 1.5 to 2 m (6.5 feet). I'm growing it as a climber.

Note: Synactif is a beauty care line from Shiseido combining skin care and fragrance.

Hi Cori, I was just wondering how you were getting on growing Synactif as a climber? I'd like a nice lilac climbing rose for my wall, but trying to find an alternative to Climbing Blue Moon, which is prone to blackspot. Thanks, Stephi

Got this rose earlier this summer, came across it in a Home Depot.
Very nice foliage, still clean in July, flowers have a wonderful fragrance and an interesting color: in hot weather, something like a very cold lavender-pink, if that makes sense. Unfortunately, in thunderstorm-y weather, it tends to ball up (but it just got into the ground, which might affect it)

I just bought this rose from Otto and Sons in Oct. 2018...they were carrying it. It is lovely.
