Lilac Festival  Medium sized blooms spiral open in large clusters making an eyecatching display. Blooms smother the plant in flushes throughout the season with a quick repeat. Medium height upright growth with semi-glossy, medium green foliage.....Breeder Allan Reed

Name Lilac Festival ****. Registered December 07 as Mini Flora.
No. 2 'Heart Breaker' x 'Sarah Anne', 2000. Colour lilac/mauve HT form with massed heads of blooms, up to 40 on good long stems. Holds colour well & is a very distinctive Rose. Have in ground 20 plus plants that are mostly budded. Won nil at the Adelaide Trial Grounds but was pointed high during the growing period.

p6 Registered Mini Flora Roses bred by Allan Read as at 27th June, 2008. ‘Lilac Festival’.
‘Heartbreaker’ x ‘Sarah Anne’, 2000. Colour = Lilac/mauve. Good HT form with large clusters of blooms and plenty of petals on long supportive stems. Dark buds open to a lighter shade spread evenly across each cluster. It holds colour well and is a good performer both as a bush or a standard. Won nil at the Adelaide Trial Gardens but was well pointed during the trial period. Applied for registration in November 2007 and was granted in March, 2008.
