Acervate. Poly. (A. Miers), 1934. This is a vigorous-growing Polyantha of the ‘Orleans’ type. The flowers are double, of rosette form, and are produced in enormous clusters on very strong stems. It is sweetly perfumed and very free flowering. The colour is best described as a pinkish lavender. The heads last well, but individual blooms eventually fade, giving a two-toned appearance on the buds in its last stages. “Acervate” is a seedling, raised by Mr. A. Miers, of Landsborough, who is a great amateur Rose enthusiast. It is being catalogued by C. W. and A. C. Heers, Pacific Nurseries, Manly, Queensland.
