Origin:
Bred by Paul Barden (United States, 2005).
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Purple.  Plum purple fading to smoky grey-purple.  Moderate, cinnamon fragrance.  30 to 50 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered bloom form.  Moderate, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Small buds.  
Habit:
Short, bushy.  Small, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  

Height: 1' to 18" (30 to 45cm).  Width: 10" to 15" (25 to 40cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Requires full sun for best color.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to disease, susceptible to blackspot .  Feed this rose well.  Requires good cultivation if it is to perform its best.  
Breeder's notes:
Very weak grower, shapeless shrub and small blooms, but the color of the bloom is amazing.
I made an entry for this to show breeders that dark purples CAN be had using 'Midnight Blue' as a (seed) parent.
