New Roses Introduced in 1892
Maurice Rouvier (New Tea Rose). — One of the distinguishing characteristics of this superb New Rose is its enormous size- the flowers are immense; fine globular form, very full and exceedingly sweet the color is bright pinkish rose, elegantly tinted with shades of buff, and prettily veined with deep shining crimson, while many of the petals have a wide border of silvery white, which gives the flowers a lighter effect than the colors would appear to indicate.  It is a good strong grower and most prolific bloomer, well worthy of high commendation (see cut).  40 cts. each.
Book  (1891)  Page(s) 51.
