I once read that one could recognize a rose by looking at the back of its blooms. I planted Moonsprite close to Louise Cretté, later realising the latter was its great grandparent, and both roses are sharing similar shapes of receptacles, I would say concave. The receptacles on the other pictures of Moonsprite look cupped/semi-spherical. Could such a radical difference be due to the young age of my plant (purchased more than a year ago, planted seven to eight months ago) ?
The last picture is Louise Crette, with the receptacle perhaps more like a cone than concave.

This lovely, fragrant and compact rose can be grown in a pot and makes perfect buttonholes.
