Would anyone growing this rose care to describe its scent? Is it citrusy, fruity/peachy, quintessentially rose, licorice-like, tea-like, or something else? If you could compare it to other well-scented roses you grow, that would help. Thanks.

This has been my first season with this rose and it has become a firm favourite. It has been continually in bud or bloom and has a wonderful fragrance. I have cut some for the house during the summer and they have lasted very well. Foliage has been incredibly disease resistant with no signs of black spot, which occurs frequently in my climate in the very southwest of England. I truly hope this continues next season.

Hi Peter. I haven't had this one a full year yet but before pruning I would say it was close to 3ft and around 1.5 - 2ft spread at the top. I have this one in the ground but the majority of my roses are in pots so I can't see why not for this one. I plan to repot most of mine after 2-3 years depending on how they are doing. It seems to have quite an upright habit so far.

Thanks Poppyfield, no harm I suppose in trying it for it's first year in a decent big pot then, I'll give it a go.
