Discovered by Robert Neil Rippetoe (United States, 2005).
Class:
Species / Wild.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow.  Moderate, linseed oil fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), globular bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  Medium buds.  
Habit:
Medium, lax, sends out runners, spreading, suckers on its own roots.  Medium foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for landscape, rock garden, shrub or specimen.  Heat tolerant.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
This form selected from a batch of species seedlings provided by Joan Monteith. Likely more cold hardy than zone 6.
