Hi, Patricia, Modern Roses has shown 'Sunburst' as a synonym for 'Mme. Joseph Perraud' since Modern Roses 6 in 1965. Before that, 'Sunburst' wasn't mentioned.
Whether either the tangerine or all-yellow blooms are 'Mme. Joseph Perraud' is a different and legitimate question.

Cass, I think the yellow Sunburst photos belong to Sunburst of Pernet-Ducher. The description of Mme Joseph Perraud should be changed to an orange-blend. Modern Roses is misleading. See the references from Rosenlexikon and Rosenverzeichnis.

No, I don't Warren. David Ruston was listing a 1934 "yellow blend" HT from Gaujard in his 2003-2004 catalogue. I would see if you can get budwood from there.
In 2006, during a post conference tour here, someone came running to me to say I had 'Mme. Joseph Perraud'. There was no time just then to query which foundling of mine it might be. Later I tried to find out and unless this pictured one was it, I have no idea if I have it or not. By now the foundling is not a very healthy rose.

Warren, did you ever manage to get 'Mme. Joseph Perraud'.

After one plant (pictured above in comment 4) of my foundling "Birte Venske No. 4" dying, and the other looking very sick for a few years, I moved the remaining plant back to a pot where it recovered nicely. I have recently planted it out and because of someone's (David's, Phillip's or Greg's?) 2006 thought that it was 'Mme. Joseph Perraud' 1934, and photos uploaded by others since then, I rather think it might be. My only other thought at one time was that it may be 'Hinrich Gaede' 1931. I'll upload some photos.
