I just bought this rose from the Fred Meyers gardening center. It has been patent and is described as "a warm blend of magenta with amber petals. Long stems and bewitching fragrance. Everblooming hybrid tea. Possibly the same rose as here or a new one?

This rose is Lucious, not Luscious, the rose you described is Astor Perry's rose Luscious. I apologize for the confusion. Lucious is not commercially available but was registered for exhibition purposes.

The rose you purchased is most likely Luscious, a rose bred by Astor Perry, and not Lucious, a rose I bred and never introduced. It is registered for exhibition purposes only and is not commercially available.
