A vigorous shrub with strong, not very thorny canes' prickles are purplish brown, straight and weak; leaves are a glossy dark green, irregularly dentate; the flower is solitary at the tips of the branches, well-formed, 7 to 8 centimeters in diameter, camellia-shaped; of a flesh-pink color, sometimes a deep salmon-pink.
