Not as hardy as other albas in real sever winters, for example a 3 m high semi-plena is tip hardy in my zone (Toronto 6b ), so is Maxima, Armide not so much , die back to just above snow line, but it has survived and recovered well for the last 10 winters with a good and reliable spring bloom.
I am trying to identify a found rose and I would like to know the state of the art in the identities of Armide, Mme Plantier, Mme Hardy Schmid and Mme de St Germain Legras. Are they the same rose? Is still existing a true Vibert's Armide?
Thank you Jedmar, the rose I am trying to identify is not white, it is pink although I can not say what kind of pink (surely carné ...). When it blooms I will show the photos of this rose in the forum to get help for its identification.
