Violet-red to violet, lighter mottling. Small to medium, very full (41+ petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Notes:
According to François Joyaux, 'Bizarre Changeant' was renamed 'Arlequin' by Paillard - see References. The gallica currently known as 'Arlequin' is a different deep pink/light red rose introduced by Vibert in 1841 - see.
