Rosa koreana Komarov (1901) section Pimpinellifoliae
The species cross R. x coryana Hurst is sometimes incorrected labeled Rosa koreana.
Similar to R. spinosissima and R. kokanica as it has both prickles and bristles. Differs from R. kokanica in that it has simply serrated non-glandular leaflets, and from R. spinosissima by the number of leaflets and by the orange-red hips.
