Apparently 'Mary Hicks' may still be at Sangerhausen.

'Mary Hicks' started out life as a multiflora descended from 'Turner's Crimson Rambler', but later on became known as a wichuraiana. Although there are many references in the file, it is difficult to pin down what it's main characteristics were really like. If anybody is going to Sangerhausen, (the only place where it is listed), a photograph showing one typical bloom and one typical leaf each of 'Excelsa' alongside the same of 'Mary Hicks', would help a great deal.

Patricia You might send Member Marnix a PM and ask him. He's going to visit Sangerhausen and the Rosenpark Reinhausen very soon.
