Bloom:
Deep pink. Strong fragrance. Semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer. Hardy.
Breeder's notes:
R. cinnamomea was crossed with a Scotch rose named Pythagoras, and two seedlings have been named: ...Iroquois has semi-double pale amaranth-pink flowers.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
In parentages she reports for other roses, Isabella Preston puts the seed parent first. The parentage given above reflects what she says in "Central Canadian Rose-Breeding." (see References).
