Bloom:
Light pink.  Average diameter 1.5".  Semi-double (9-16 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  
Habit:

Height: 15' (455cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
"Chester Cemetery No. 1". Found by Ruth Knopf in the Chester, South Carolina Cemetery.
Compare also the more double, deeper-coloured "Chester Cemetery No. 2" listed separately.

We have presumed that "Chester Cemetery No. 1" is the same rose as "Cemetery Rose Chester County", but we have no description for the latter named rose.

"Chester Cemetery No. 1" is a large, spreading shrub, or small to moderate climber in the style of 'Champneys' Pink Cluster'.
Prickles: Some thornless stems and the shorter flowering canes are usually thornless
Blooms are 1 - 1.5 inches, clearly showing stamens while fresh.
