My plant came from Vintage 4-30-2014, about 20 in tall, with a full bloom of yellow. Very healthy looking. I can't detect any scent, but the bloom is lovely.

Re: Bred in Unknown (1952) by Frederick Leal.
The Australian Rose Annual 1952, page 128 listed about 16 USA roses in the list of Rose Registrations for Australia. Among these was Registration No. 25, December 18, 1951 . Climbing Goldilocks. Registered by E. S. Boerner, and raised by Frederick L. Caluya.
I note also in the Australian Rose Annual 1934 , page 115 in a listing of Roses of Australia, compiled by the then editor, T. A. Stewart, 'Climbing Goldlachs' is listed with the breeder as Hazlewood, 1934. The description is: A climbing sport from the dwarf variety, with the same intense fiery golden salmon blooms, produced freely in compact trusses.
It was not listed in Hazlelwood's catalogue in 1930, 1932, but was listed in their 1934 catalogue.
