New Roses 1924. Lady Venables Vernon (HT) The Jersey Nurseries. A beautiful Rose of true conical form. Its colour in the bud state is a lovely blending of cream and saffron, the base of the petals being chrome yellow; as the bloom opens this gradually tones to soft flesh overlaid with blush, of exquisite scent. ‘Amy Hammond’ x ‘Sir Alexander N. Rochfort’. A good healthy grower which has never been attacked by mildew.
