Registration name: Lady Johnstone
Origin:
Bred by Paul Nabonnand (1860-1937) (France, 1922).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1926 as 'Lady Johnstone'.
Class:
Hybrid Gigantea.  
Bloom:
Vermilion, yellow undertones.  Safflower-pink.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Large, glossy foliage.  7 to 9 leaflets.  

Height: up to 8'2" (up to 250cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
RNRS 'Tne Rose' for Autumn/Winter 2006 page 99 states that this rose is a Hybrid Gigantea.
