Proof of the Pudding.
Mrs. Georgia Chobe  HT. pink. (H&S '37) ARA 37;  PP 40-43.

Book  (1943)

p48.  Alister Clark.  A Rose Hunter's Review.
Mrs. Georgia Chobe is described as a faded, floppy pink by Shields. As this Rose was raised by Howard and Smith, and sent out with confidence, it seems to me almost libellous to bludgeon it with abuse. Incidentally, this Rose has given good promise with me at "Glenara.

p80.  Dr. A. S. Thomas.  An Exhibitor's Opinion.
Mrs. Georgia Chobe: Good in every way except that it opens so slowly that it blues or is damaged too frequently.
Book  (1942)  Page(s) 24.

Alister Clark.  Here and There.
Mrs. Georgie Chobe has given some fine shapely flowers that last well on the plant. It is a good Rose, and I hope to get seedlings from it with a little deeper colour.
Book  (1941)  Page(s) 78.

John Poulsen, NZ.  South Island Roses.
Mrs. Georgia Chobe grew well and gave a large number of beautiful shaped blooms of a nice soft-pink shade, but is not too happy in wet weather.
