New Roses 1931. Mrs. E. M. Gilmer (HT. J. Cook 1927) 3. Bud and flower very large, semi-double, cupped, lasting, slightly fragrant, brilliant carmine, borne singly on long stem. Foliage abundant, large, light green, leathery. Growth very vigorous, upright; continuous bloomer. Recommended. 2/- each.

'Katherine Cook' HT (Cook, 1927. This is one of John Cook's roses which got mixed up with Dorothy Dix and Mrs. E. M. Gilmer in the naming. In the confusion none of the roses was properly disseminated.
