White, near white or white blend Floribunda. Exhibition name: Antique Silk
Class:
Floribunda, Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.
Bloom:
Cream, orange undertones. Mild fragrance. 20 to 25 petals. Average diameter 3". Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to cupped bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Long buds.
Habit:
Short, bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright. Large, semi-glossy, medium green, leathery foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Very vigorous. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, mildew resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
