Dark red Hybrid Tea. Registration name: Léonor de March
Bloom:
Red, lighter reverse, yellow undertones. Strong fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Upright. Glossy foliage.
Height: 28" to 35" (70 to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Possibly dedicated to Leonor Servera Melis (1888-1957), wife of Juan March Ordinas (October 4, 1880 - March 10, 1962), a leading Banker and enterpreneur of the period. She established the March Gardens in Cala Ratjada, Mallorca.
