Origin:

Bred by Carles (Carlos) Camprubí Domingo (Spain, 1957).
Introduced in France by Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1959 as 'Leonore de March'.
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1965 as 'Léonor de March'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Red, lighter reverse, yellow undertones. Strong fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.

Habit:

Upright. Glossy foliage.

Height: 28" to 35" (70 to 90cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
