Medium pink Hybrid Tea. Exhibition name: Jadis
Bloom:
Pink, mauve highlights. Strong, rose fragrance. up to 30 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bushy, upright, well-branched. Large, light green, leathery foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6a through 10b. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Hardy. vigorous. heat tolerant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
