Striped Gallicas.Panachée de Luxembourg Deep crimson with small lighter stripes, petals finely cut; no anthers; faint scent. Pedicel and hip glanded, few on hip. Calyx double bud, long slender point, small leafy wings. Leaves medium, downy below. Wood red, tinged, many curved red thorns, large and small, and glands. Of no merit. Probably a Gallica Damascena cross. Soupert, 1867.

Panachée de Luxembourg. Hybrid. Medium size, full, purple-violet, striped and mottled salmon-pink, very floriferous. Descends from a sporting branch of the variety Docteur Arnal.
