Adorable, quirky colored little rose that is tough to put in a class: considered a Hybrid Tea, it is so tiny! 12-maybe 24 inches tall, about as wide, like a little glossy-leaved cushion. Blooms are not large, in scale with the dwarf plant, but they do appear more or less on single stems with very few clusters and in my experience, no trusses or pannicles. This one is for the historian, the collector, the lover of the odd, for it can be very difficult to keep the blackspot and mildew away and mine, which grows in a pot and "sleeps" in the insulated garage, still suffers some bonafide winter-kill to the canes despite temps in the garage not getting lower than 25. Roses of Yesterday and today offered this one side-by-side with Fiesta, both conversation pieces, for years...............
