In "Central Canadian Rose-Breeding," by Isabella Preston, "Open-pollinated seeds of R.Harisonii were sown, and some interesting seedlings were grown. The best one was named Orinda. It is a more attractive plant than the parent and the semi-double flowers are cream...All of these are very hardy, and keep their foliage in good condition until late in the season. "
