Discovered by Charles Détriché (France, before 1909).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1911 as 'Soleil d'Angers'.
Class:
Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, vermilion outer petals.  Medium, very double, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Sangerhausen describes the color of the blossom as orange-yellow.
