Vermilion, crimson shading, violet shading. Strong fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Vigorous.

Notes:
The declared synonymity of 'Ferdinand de Lesseps' of Verdier with 'Exposition de Brie' by Granger is questionable from today's viewpoint - These are distinct roses which were very similar in appearance. 'Ferdinand de Lesseps' ex Guillot is diploid - see Reference of 2002.
