This is my most favorite rose in my garden. In my garden; Vendela puts out buds on looooooooooooong canes (some 3' long) and repeats well in the heat. She also produces some sprays. Blooms average 4" in diameter. The blooms are a white ivory blend (sometimes there is a hint of pink) I could easily cut 12 long stem roses from a single bush in its second year living in my garden even during the dog days of summer when everything else had shut down due to the heat. There is always a bloom on the bush and the bush as a whole doesn't seem to go through a "rest" period like some roses. The stems are thick so the blossoms never droop from the weight of the blossoms. As a cut rose the blooms keep perfect form to the last day and the petals do not fall from the bloom.. rather the flower starts to "dry" in its perfect form. The cut flowers last 2-3 weeks in the vase... even longer if you recut the base of the stem and change the water regularly. The bush in my garden.. is now 4 years old and is 5+ feet tall and 4 feet in diameter. Give it lots of room to grow. You can purchase this rose from Carlton's Roses
