'Peter Benjamin' rose Description

ARS:
Apricot or apricot blend Hybrid Tea.
Bloom:
Apricot or apricot blend. Salmon to coral pink. Strong fragrance. 40 petals. Average diameter 4". Exhibition bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.
Habit:
Tall, upright. Medium foliage.
Height: 4'1" to 4'7" (125 to 140cm). Width: 39" to 47" (100 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for cut flower, exhibition or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Notes:
The two 1999 and the 2003 references reverse the above parentage. Due to the name of the rose, they may well be correct.
