Origin:
Bred by David Benny (New Zealand, before 1999).
Introduced in New Zealand by Camphill Roses in 2001 as 'Dear One'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Soft porcelain pink, fading to off white.  Mild fragrance.  Small to medium, classic hybrid tea bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, compact.  

Height: 31" to 39" (80 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
Dear One is one of the new varieties being added to the RINZ Rose Display Trial at the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens in 1999.
