Origin:

Bred by André (aka Schwartz Fils) Schwartz (France, 1933).

Class:

Climber, Hybrid Tea, Cl..

Bloom:

Carmine-red, vermilion shading. Large, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Climbing. Dark green foliage.

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 7b and warmer.

Patents:

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Parentage:

Reine Marie Henriette (cl. hybrid tea, Levet, 1878) × Laurent Carle (hybrid tea, Pernet-Ducher 1907)

Notes:

Different descriptions (red vs. yellow). Both parents are red, however. "Modern Roses" seems to have the description mixed up with "Hélène de Montbriand" of André Schwartz.
