Text on reverse of card:
EDWARD MAWLEY.
(Hybrid Tea.)
Named after the Hon. Sec. of the National Rose Society, it is worthy of the name it bears. Flowers are very large and perfectly formed, and its habit of growth is vigorous. Will thrive in almost any soil, and should be hard pruned when grown for exhibition. Introduced in 1911, and awarded the Society's Gold Medal.
