Re: "bred in unknown".
'Alice King' and 'Lavinia Harrison' were registered in Australia as being raised by G. Harrison. (see 'Australian Rose Annual' 1994 page 56.) This reference includes roses bred by three other well known Australians, so it is presumed Mr. Harrison also was an Australian.
