Caress (Hybrid Tea) By Dicksons of Hawlmark, 1935... The light salmon carmine border merges into a ground of pale buttercup yellow slightly rose tinted. The definite picotee edging is most distinctive and effective. Long artistic bud, developing into a decorative fragrant flower of moderate fullness. The growth is strong, upright and prolific. Bright green foliage, graceful and abundant. A beautiful and desirable Rose.

Caress (A Dickson and Sons).—A very charming little decorative Rose that reminds me of Mrs. Paul Goudie. The blooms have not much substance, and my plant is rather delicate. It may improve with age, or, perhaps, do the reverse.

A. Dickson and Sons sponsor Caress, an aptly named cream and pink variety which is very beautiful. . It is a good grower and sweetly scented, with thirty-five petals.

Caress, H.T. (A. Dickson). The habit is poor, the colour pale. buttercup (too pale to be attractive), and the flower lacks substance.
