Trinity (MACredparap); McGredy 1993; 'Sexy Rexy' x 'Eyeopener'; dark red; 24 reports on 59 bushes; 1 metre; 7.7 rating. Medium sized shrub bearing large trusses of small dark red flowers. When open, cupped shaped with gold stamens. Dark green semi-glossy leaves. Slight fragrance. Reports all say the rose is very healthy and it flowers continuously. The number of flowers can make the branches flop. The flowers are mini sized. One reporter mentioned that it would make a very good standard. Can brighten up a corner of the garden and is worthwhile having.

Nola Simpson. Review of Newer Roses for 1997-98 Season.
Trinity (MACredparap). McGredy 1993; 'Sexy Rexy' x 'Eyeopener'; dark red; 4 reports on 7 plants; 1-4 years; 1 x 1.2 metres; 8.2 (interim) rating. Only 4 reports again this year and the ratings are high, should be better known evidently. Wellington reports very free flowering, large healthy shrub, blooms perfect 'rosebud' style, dark red with no burning, one of the reporters favourites, makes an excellent show in the garden and picks well. Kaitaia says very healthy plant, blooms come in large heads and are dark red, stand the weather well and a wonderful plant. Northland says it is growing on a dry bank under an Olive Tree and still performs well. West Otago says health A 1 and produces a great profusion of red buds and blooms.

Nola Simpson. Review of Newer Roses for 1996-97 Season.
Trinity (MACredparap); McGredy 1993; 'Sexy Rexy' x 'Eyeopener'; dark red; 4 reports on 13 plants; 1-3 years; l x l metre; 8.0 (interim) rating. Only 4 reports and 2 gave no rating. West Otago saw it at De Boer Roses and was greatly impressed. Kaitaia lots of dark red blooms, stands rough treatment. Otago lots of dark red blooms, the buds are nice, but it is very similar to some other miniatures, e.g. 'Patio Prince'. Another report from Otago rates it near perfect and says it flowers all season.

Nola Simpson. Review of Newer Roses for 1995-96 Season.
Trinity (MACredparap). McGredy 1993. 'Sexy Rexy' x 'Eyeopener'; dark red; 4 reports on 23 plants; 1-2 years; 1 x 1 metre; no rating - too few reports. A dense spreading plant with small dark green leaves bearing small dark red HT type blooms in large trusses, very healthy. The trusses can be too heavy at times. Franklin says strong arching growth, good health and dark crimson red double miniature flowers with gold stamens. Otago compact, healthy, smothered with perfect little HT type blooms, good repeat, outstanding. Another from Otago says very attractive, no problems. Feilding healthy, flowers well, lovely colour.
